Cellular Activation! 90 Day Challenge

Cellular Activation! 90 Day Challenge

Below is an article I did for our church’s 90 Day Challenge. Hope you’ll have a great time reading it.

Cellular Activation – Getting Ready for Cell Group Action
By: April Emperador

Cell Group is the primary medium to build relationships within the church. It provides a joint function of training, building friendship, mutual support and discipleship.

The believers during Jesus’ time also met and gathered as a cell group for personal growth - encouragement, training for ministry and support.

Acts 2:42-27,
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

In biology, we know that the cell is the basic unit of life and that the human body is made up of many cells. It cannot live without cells. Similarly, the cell group is the basic unit of a church which is made up of many cell groups. A church cannot live without cell groups.

We should also understand that a cell group has life and because it has life, it grows.
As a cell grows, it multiplies by giving birth to new cells, which in turn give birth to more cells.

Christianity is not just about you and God, prayer and devotion. It goes deeper than that. It is about a life also shared with others.

Do you believe a man can change a nation? How about a cell? Do you think it can change the world? Yes! Absolutely! That’s Perfectly Possible!
It just needs to start with YOU, ME and US! A person can change a nation in the way he thinks and acts
If one man tries and so does another and this continues, without doubt we can change the world.

5 days to go!!! Get ready, be involved, and take the challenge!
Be part of this experience and you will definitely change the world! ☺

PASSION

It was really my passion to do productions of different kinds.:p I think it’s one reason why I took up my course, Mass Communication major in Broadcast. I love shooting, the pre-production, production and post production. I’m missing college because of this. Haha!
I’m privilege to be chosen as one of the people who will do this special AVP for the Mission Conference. This is in connection with the 90 Day Challenge of my church, Radiance of Christ Ministries International. I’ll blog next time about that very challenging Challenge. :p

I was with the young generation of RCMI (Radiance of Christ Ministries Int’l) Advertising people. I call them the RCMI AD peeps. These are the young people taking up ADvertising courses and other related courses.

We all attended the 2nd service of May 5th Sunday service just to have enough time for the shooting because we normally attend the 3rd service which is for the young people.

It was a day filled with laughter, fun, creativity, eagerness, patience and most of all PASSION. Passion not only with what we’re doing but most especially passion for God  and His people.

Above are behind the scene photos.
We know that the AVP (Audio Visual Presentation) will lift and will give glory to God’s name. The AVP will as well open the eyes of all the believers on how to give to God and to his people of what is really for them.
The AVP will be starring by a cute boy named, Francis who is really passionate in acting.
Watch out for the AVP viewing on Sunday, May 19, 2013, 2nd service.
All glory to the Lord!:)

KIMONO is IN this Time of the Year

KIMONO is IN this Time of the Year

We’re about to end Summer in a few weeks and I know some of us are still craving for Summer adventures like me. Haha! Worry not because we still have a month to go to have our own Summer getaway adventures. Yeah!
In this season of the year, we wanted to make sure that we’re IN in all areas and one of which is in how we dress up. People have different taste and styles in their looks this Summer but for me, Kimono is IN this time of the year.

Just to give you a brief background of Kimono. The word kimono” derived from the word “ki meaningwear” and mono meaning a thing”. So, literally Kimono means a thing to wear.
image(Photo grabbed from www.google.com)
In the ancient times, it is strictly worn as a traditional garment of Japanese men and women but these days, the modern times it can now be used as a fashion get up specially in this time of the year. It is either plain or printed.

It can be worn as a cover up for swimwear.

As a blazer for a formal and casual wear.
